The Yaz-A-Matics Sticker Pack
A design project which consists of 9 stickers that are representative of me. I adore this project because it was a fun process of trail and error. It pushed me creatively and technically. I was able to try new pen types, color variations, and outline placements. Procreate was used for illustrations and Photoshop was used to export sticker files and phone demonstrations.
The Spade: Playing cards have always been a collector's item I adored. I love the design of them and unity of them as a deck.
The Mug: I also collect coffee mugs! This sticker was a joy to complete, it helped shape the rest of the sticker pack style and color scheme. The saying "Don't Mind My Mug!" is referencing one's resting face. The Typography is my handwriting which I wanted to come off sharp and structured. Also, I enjoy dad jokes so this ties in my humor.
The Chill Cube: In high school I founded the phrase "Calm your Chill!" which was created by mixing up the phrases "calm down" and "chill". Ever since then, it became a staple in my mottos. Phrase BREAK DOWN: often times when you ask someone to calm down, their response is that they are calm, so calm your chill simply means to chill out your calm level.
The Cold Chalice: This sticker is for the dramatics. I consume ice coffee everyday and with a beverage that holds much influence on my life, its container need to match, hence the chalice.
The Ink Spill: "Sorry" is a regular in my vocabulary and it was only fair to include it in spilled ink. Ink is fascinating to me and it will be seen in numerous artworks.
The INK: Ink bottles come in many shapes and sizes and I love the looks of them. I wanted to include the significance ink has in my aesthetic and certain art pieces.
The Button: Buttons represent my aesthetic fairly well due to them being interchangeable in creepy or cute contexts. I used background colors in this design to bring them out more, but also to keep a uniform look within certain stickers. The greens in this design are the same greens used in The Mug and The Spade.
The Shroom in Hat: This design of mushroom is a go-to drawing that can be found within my notes to sketchbooks. Mushrooms are a sentimental piece due to it representing my mom. I love the Mad Hatter and top hats in general so it was a way to represent the electiveness I appreciate in art and in my everyday appearance.
The ICON: This sticker is me; It is my icon sticker.
The Mock-ups: These are demonstrations on how the Yaz-A-Matic Sticker Pack will appear in use on your phone in iMessages or Whats-App in both dark and light mode.
